May 20th 2020 is the official (forced) launch for Eclipse and I say this again: it's the worst Birthday present EVER. Everything is just WAY TOO BIG; the avatar (thank you so much for making my GIF avatar so pixelated *sarcasm*), thumbnails, the text and so on. The comment pages are all endless scrolling instead of going to the next pages. Everything makes the site more heavier and slower to load. Everything is in my face, even the Journals (now lamely called "Posts"; where's the personality?) decide to get in my face with thumbnails and there's no sidebar list of entries that you can swiftly click on. Now you have to scroll to find an older entry. There are no customized folders for notifications and the Gallery/Favorites folders are a mess on top of the page (again you need to scroll) instead of being properly organized in a sidebar so that all of them show without having to scroll massive thumbnails. I really miss the simplistic style of old dA, this one is just TOO MUCH. It's NOT

Small hope extinguished forever

Hi everyone!
I come with bad news.
You may have read my last Journal about a possible comeback with new drawings since I posted "The return of E. Nygma" fanart. Well unfortunately, you can all forget it. I've read that new DeviantART will launch around May 20th and the old design will be outright deleted (they used the finer word "retired" but I know what this is all about). In other words, you won't be able to switch back to old look when you log in. I just knew we don't get to keep what made dA unique and I'm so disappointed in dA staff over this stupid decision. They never got the memo of "don't fix what's not broken".

A sad end... and a small hope?

So... I have bad news and maybe good news.
The bad, and terribly sad, news is that 2K/Gearbox decided to shut down the servers for the online multiplayer game "Battleborn" in January 2021. I've mentioned about it in one of my last Journals that I love the game, especially my favorite gentlebot sniper Marquis d'Caliber, and I enjoy it far more than "Overwatch". Now I only have one year to play it until the game becomes completely unplayable. This also includes offline play such as single-player Story mode and Bots vs Bots mode (where one player can play offline with a team of AI against a team of AI).
