“I don’t understand, Harv!” The green man uttered when entering the big building.

“What don’t ya understand?” the two-faced man asked nonchalantly as he flipped his coin.

“This… this person…”, here the red-haired man lost his speech and seemed confused. His face was shifting in red, probably from anger.

“You look upset. What person are you talking about? Batman?” The man called Harv glanced quickly at his comrade.

“No, not him… this stranger. I don’t know who she is, but…”

“She?” It seemed that Harv showed some attention after all.

“Yes, she just… I mean, she’s so mystic… she wore a brown cape and a hood and… I don’t even know her…!”

“Calm down now, Eddie. What did she do?” Harv asked although he already had a hunch what it might be. “Take it from the beginning.”

“Well, I was escaping from the police and Batman was fortunately knocked-out for once… then I ended up in a dead end…”

“Wow, Eddie. I hear you dabbled that detail”, Harv grinned. His bad half looked more grotesque when his big eye was staring at Eddie.

“I couldn’t concentrate on the run, Harvey! You know that!” Eddie protested. “Anyway, then she.. this person jumped down from above, picked me up and in a second or two we stood on the roof, far away from the cops.”

“Well, she rescued you. That’s it”, Harvey said and continued flipping his coin while gazing at it, thinking that was the whole story.

“It’s not it”, Eddie said shortly.

“It’s not?” Again Harvey looked up at his green friend. “Then what in the world is the problem?”

“Well…”, here Eddie silenced before he tried again. “I asked her who she was and why she saved me and all that.. then, she hushed and… she…”

“She what?” Harvey asked, completely interested - which was a rare sight from the ignorant Two-Face.

“She… she kissed me, Harvey!” He finally bursted out. “Why... Why did she do that? I was going to ask her, but she was gone quickly afterwards.”

“What was wrong with that? You should be lucky”, Harvey grinned widely as he chuckled. “Maybe she’s a shy admirer.”

“It’s not funny, Harvey! I’m the Riddler! I don’t… I don’t like being surprised like that! She just… in a second and…”

“Now, wait a minute here, Eddie. What’s wrong with that, really?” Harvey asked again. “I thought you liked women, don’t you?”

“Not really, I’ve had bad luck with them…”, Eddie said lowly. “I never… it… it was the first time I…” Here he stopped and turned away his blushing face.

“My god… Eddie, are you telling me that you’ve never been kissed?” Harvey almost dropped his coin in surprise.

“It seems so…”, this Riddler said, still with his face turned away. “Like I said, I never had good luck with women. Most of them are just pain in the… but this stranger… she probably knew what she was doing, didn’t she?”

“If she didn’t hesitate, then I guess so”, Harvey said.

A minute of silence. Then Riddler finally said.
“She didn’t.”

“I wonder…”, Harvey started.

“What?”

“Nothing… I’m just wondering what she saw in you”, Harvey revealed and shrugged.

“Well…”, Edward started. Then he finally looked up with a pale grin on his lips. “That is a riddle, isn’t it?”
