Extract from 's fanfiction Ludwig and Matilda - A Love Story:
Now yeve got to calm down, Ludwig, Scrooge said firmly. Ill go out and look for them right now!
Oh tank you tank you! At this point, Ludwig was in tears. Oh Scroogie, its all mine fault...I am sorry...I am so sorry!
Its all right, Ludwig. I promise, Ill look to this. Now get ye a cup o tea and rest yourself, for the love of Heaven.

This is my late contest entry for and also a Birthday art for my friend .
It was my first time drawing Scrooge. I forgot that he should rise from his chair.. oh well. But after all versions I've drawn of Ludwig, I think I mixed two versions in one. Not easy to draw ducks and I need to learn how to draw backgrounds.
Also, noticing how different their bills are? I think it depends on the angle.. or maybe because I used a comic page as a reference for Scrooge (he's not easy to draw for a beginner, you know).
I just noticed my biggest mistake: it was Scrooge's cellphone that rang, not an old ordinary phone. (I have to learn to double-check the fic before drawing a fic fanart ). But now it's too late. *cough*
*sigh* Okay, rant and babbling over. Hope you like or love! (Just.. don't hit me, ok?)
Edit! I tried to make it less pixelated, but with no further luck (seems like this pic wants to argue with me).. so I changed the softness. At least it's better than the original, isn't it? End edit!

Awwwww, thank you!!! I was out running errands and just got back awhile ago, and this was such a nice thing to come home to!!
You did a great job on this, hon! I love the way you did that little inset with Ludwig on the phone. Speaking of phones, showing Scrooge with a regular phone looks much better. I think I'll even change that bit about the cellphone, since I'd forgotten Scroogie has an actual office in that money bin.
I it, sweetie, I really do!!!

You're much welcome! I'm happy to hear it! And thanks for the nice comments!
By the way, I'll edit a bit more on this pic so it won't look so much pixelated (the preview looks much better than the fullsized pic ). I actually wanted to mention "I'm so used to see a regular phone on Scrooge's desk", but the description was too long enough.
Thank you for the favorite! You're more than welcome to put it in the Club's gallery if you want to. And Happy Birthday once more!

You're very welcome, hon! And I know what you mean about pixels...that's why I usually save my work in .png format, that way you don't get the nasty little things.
And thanks again, sweetie! I'll put the picture in the Gallery as soon as I'm able.
